I used something I purchased locally. Can't remember the brand now but I suspect almost any external antenna would perform very well.

Re: GPS Flight telemetry
If the 638 is pin-compatible with the 636, you could just replace the chip and save yourself developing a new-board. Fingers-crossed.
Not sure but I don't think John has a full grasp of the project as yet so he may be just saying.

I have tested both modules and the SFE one without antenna works fantastically when used with an active antenna. The SUP500F, unfortunately, has dismal performance (cannot acquire at all.) Nate at SFE has posted that they no longer encourage people to use the SUP500F for the myriad of issues related...

Air-speed sensor
Air-speed sensor The air-speed sensor is a very specific part, the Honeywell HSCMRNN001PG2A3. Other analog types such as available from Motorola (MPXnnnnn) won't work. Only this exact part will work. You can get the part from:- http://sg.farnell.com/honeywell-s-c/hscmrnn001pg2a3/pressure-sensor/dp/...

Re: DragonOSD+ configuration
Yves, I personally don't think the dBm conversion is going to be very useful at all without some precise calibration. In this respect, the simple percentage display is likely to be the more useful one. The OSD reads various RSSI voltages from different receivers and unless you know how each receiver...
