DragonOSD+ PC Commander - configuration utility

Craig (Cralis) has kindly written up a configuration tool to be used with the DragonOSD+. This thread is for the support of this utility.

First beta release is now available.
Version is 0.1.1 Beta.

Load the application, select your COM port, and connect. From there you can view and modify all parameters. There is a live screen which shows current values. You need to enable live polling using the (temporary) Live checkbox at the bottom left side of the screen. That will be put into a better place soon.

Before firmware updates (Currently done as per normal), you can backup your parameters to a local file, and then after the firmware update, restore the parameters.

Please note there's a debug.txt file created in the same folder as you run the application from. If there are any issues, please use that as a source of reporting. Hopefully any errors and warnings are logged in there.

Known and Outstanding Issues:

System Overview screen - Needs improving, but cosmetic right now.
Google Earth File Export - Export google data from device.
Add RSS We Feed - Show announcements.
Verify connectivity before storing parameters - Done, but testing.
Add Waypoint Functionality - Needs a new screen.
Manage Sensors - not showing 100% accuratly yet.

Command 0.1.2Beta has been uploaded.
This now handles the new value types for the SERVOV added to the firmware.

No other updates from 0.1.1B.

Command 0.1.3 Beta has been uploaded.

This version has the following changes since the last version:

* Status bar moved to bottom. (Allows more space on the screen)
* Live checkbox removed. To view Live Mode, select 'Device' on the menu, and then 'Live Mode'. To stop Live Mode, do the same thing.
* Added more error checking. Disconnected device is now handled when you try do something. No more bad exception screens.
* Allowable parameter values has more error checking (More a background thing that you won't notice).
* Code refactored and cleaned up (Again, nothing you'll notice)

I had a report of the settings file not being created properly when you first use it. I'd like to know if anyone else has had this happen? If so, please PM me, and I'll try get more details.

Fixed a small issue in that, if you were in Live Mode, and did an update, you got a nasty error.

* Fixed issue where the DESCENT MODE could only be 0 or 1.

This version has the following changes since the last version:

* PC Commander is now backward compatible to previous firmware version.
* Fixing issue with not having registry access. (In progress)

There was an error when using the software with earlier versions of the firmware. This has been resolved. Some people are for some reason, getting permission errors when connecting. I have tried a fix. If this continues, please report it to me at:
