Re: Modules
The crucial parts of this project would be the:-
1. Communications link
2. Camera control
3. Antenna tracking
I think that would be the most basic aspects we would need and so these will get priority in terms of development and research.

Re: Modules
Daniel,
You better head over to my place to actually conduct this project. We have more space and it's been done in the past but might not be as sophisticated as what you will put together.

Re: Modules
I will definitely have to do it out of Singapore since this place is so small, I'd need to have my passport with me just to chase the balloon. In all likelihood, it will end up getting done in and around Perth. They have lots of land and it's much cheaper and nearer for me to fly there. The strong winds in that area worry me though.

Re: Modules
Just have to do it at the right time of year. Another advantage of WA is it's almost totally flat - great for RF haha.
You should come down for it John. Have the whole crew together bouncing around the country side chasing balloons

Re: Modules
Your Nissan has air conditioning right? Hope you don't mind if I bring along my Tasmanian Devils
OK back to the program now.

Re: Modules
Yep, people bitch about how cold it is.
Well, there's technically room for 5 in the car with the drawers + cargo barrier in. better with 4 though, then the 2 back passengers have central arm rests Other option is to just bring more cars
